clouds don’t matter when you have your own
sunnyday

contemporary stained glass brings a pop of color into your
everyday.
these geometric handmade artworks glow and reflect, sending hues into your home or office in the most unexpected ways.
personalized to complement you and your environment, these unique windows bring joy to a space and are the perfect gift for any occasion.

the scraps series
the scraps series was born from the idea of upcycling glass scraps to create something completely new.
unlike most stained glass, these are created using a freeform technique instead of a pattern making each window a genuine one of a kind artwork. the design is formed as it’s being built in response to how the glass breaks and shapes relate in real time.

mini’s
mini’s are smaller six inch versions of the scraps series, often made from only three or four colors but in various geometric formations.
the b&w series
the b&w series is an extention and evolution of the scraps series.
continuing with the idea of upcycling glass scraps to create something completely new, the b&w series also dips into traditional stained glass technique using predetermined patterns for the design.
while some or most of the patterns are made in advance, the colors used to create the kaleidoscope are decided in real time, and paired with black and white opaque glass to create a modern design and vivid artwork.

mini lamps
by using a combination of mosaic and stained glass techniques, these magical mini lamps are a one of a kind way to add a little light to any space.
each lamp is crafted individually without a pattern resulting in a unique and unexpected delight both day and night.
the shapes series
this series finally gives the geometric shapes a chance to live outside the circle. these two-tone glass suncatchers have a simplicity, grace and uneasiness that intrigues and delights.
cool. so how do i buy one?
right now I’m mainly working on a commission only basis, with various flash sales announced on instagram. maybe someday i’ll have a newsletter but i’m not there yet.

custom list closed
filling out a quick google doc from the link below is the first step in getting on the custom list. from there we’ll work together to talk about sizes, prices, timeframe and colors that would be a perfect fit for
you or a friend.
the waitlist is currently closed (for now)
follow along on @sunnyday_windows instagram for more information and announcements on when it will be open again
but how does the commission process work?
getting on the waitlist for a commission comes with no commitment but often quite a bit of a wait.
when i get to your name on the list i’ll reach out to see if you’re still interested and if so, we’ll talk about what size you’re thinking and if you have a color palette in mind.
then we’ll work together to fine-tune the colors and talk about any design elements from past windows you like or prefer to avoid.
since the scraps series is made freeform you do not sign off on the design. instead, i’ll send a sneak peak when the design is cut, and then a photo of the finished window to make sure you’re happy.
once you confirm you’re delighted i’ll send an invoice and get the window in the mail within five business days of payment.
be in the know.
you hate junk mail and i sure as heck don’t want to send it.
but sign up for my email list to be the first to know about online sales, popup events and maybe even discounts and
fun newsletter things the future.
